Bled Car Rental
Bled and Lake Bled are considered to be one of the most beautiful tourist places in Slovenia. Today the town is a cluster of five villages, which are distributed around the lake.
The town Bled lies in the middle of a diverse landscape, which formed by traveling glaciers. The dynamism created surrounding landscape of hills, which in the winter time, become ski grounds.
The lake is 2,12 km long and has the width from 0,5 to 1 km. In the summer time water is pleasantly heated and suitable for bathing. In very cold winters the lake freezes and the lake’s surface becomes suitable for skating. If time allows it, be sure to visit the 4-kilometer distant Vintgar gorge. Road markings will lead you Spodnje Gorje, where you turn for Soteska Vintgar (Vintgar gorge). The wooden path with bridges will lead you along the 1.6 km long river canyon of river Radovna. With its waterfalls, pools and rapids, the river offers amazing views of the wild nature.
